About VYNOR

The Goal

We started VYNOR because we love wine, and we know how frustrating it can be to hunt down a special bottle. There is so much great wine out there, but finding it and knowing where to drink it shouldn't be a project. We wanted to make it simple: search for a bottle, see which restaurants have it, and book a table. That's it.

Why This Is Hard

Before VYNOR, finding a specific bottle at a restaurant meant either getting lucky, knowing a sommelier, or making a lot of phone calls. Here's what we kept running into:

• Wine lists are hidden. Most restaurants don't publish their full cellars online, so you never know what they have until you sit down.
• You can't hold a bottle. Even if a restaurant has what you want, there's no way to guarantee it will still be there when you arrive.
• Information is everywhere and nowhere. Scores, prices, drinking windows all live in different places. It takes real effort to put it all together.
• Talking to sommeliers is hard. Getting someone on the phone to confirm a bottle often turns into a game of phone tag.

How We Built It

We tackled each problem directly:

• Confirmed reservations

  When you book through VYNOR, the sommelier confirms directly. Your bottle is guaranteed to be waiting.

• Expert data built in

  Every bottle shows critic scores, tasting notes, and when it should be drunk. No more digging through multiple sources.

• Direct sommelier chat

  We connect you with sommeliers through WhatsApp. No phone calls, no waiting around. Just a quick message to confirm your bottle.
